Manifesting the Light

The intention I set on Winter Solstice was to work the Manifesting Current of divine light down my chakras throughout the Winter season. Starting at the Crown and spending two weeks on each chakra, my invocation is to cultivate the growing light of the season into each of my psycho-spiritual centers. This journey culminates in the Root Chakra at the Spring Equinox, supporting me in blooming with more authenticity and soul-fullness in the Spring.

I have worked the Manifestation Channel of energy down my chakras before, however I have never invoked this intention during Winter. In the past, Winter has called for me to sink into my Root Chakra, deepening into the hibernating earth and soaking up ancestral wisdom from the great mama gaia. From this foundation, I then rise up through my chakras along the Liberating Current, opening to expansion from a solid ground.
This year I decided to do something different, and I must say, starting in the Crown Chakra, during the time of the year when we are in our darkest days, has been rather challenging for me. It takes a lot of practice and consciousness to find the light, when it is cold and dark in my physical surroundings.
The Crown Chakra governs the elemental vibration of Thought, that powerful output of the mind we are all so familiar with. The mind is a powerful tool and its magic should be harnessed, however, cultivating the Crown Chakra calls for you to rise above the mind by engaging the Transcendental Witness. This level of consciousness observes the mind, without judgement, and is able to see the reality of what is.
As I activate my Crown Chakra and engage witness consciousness, I have come to see just how limiting my thoughts have been. There is a cosmos of possibility out there I have been denying myself, and therefore the world at large, through the sheer smallness of my thoughts about what is possible.
If I am going to cultivate a vibrant new year for myself and my community, I must start with my internal landscape. As I step into the new year, I awake to divine luminosity, letting the expansiveness of cosmic truth infiltrate my thoughts and beliefs about what is possible. I say yes to the mystery, and open to the light of the divine in all my thoughts, breaths, and observations. Om Shree Namaha.
